Spotlight Program
M.C. Cash Elementary School — Career PATHways
M.C. Cash School strives to prepare each student for a successful career through their Career PATHways program. At M.C. Cash School, students will become familiar with careers through learning that connects classroom instruction to future work. Career awareness strategies expose students to a variety of career fields to stimulate interest in future work.
Throughout all grade levels, students will learn skills that are vital for success in any career path and make connections to colleges and trade schools through guest speakers and campus tours. In 5th and 6th grade, students will understand entrepreneurship through Junior Achievement’s BizTown and further explore careers and aptitudes. Through the MC Cash/ ABEC (Arizona Business Education Coalition) Middle School Career Exploration Project, middle school students will understand how their passions translate into future career goals, research and evaluate career options and set goals to achieve career aspirations through education and career action plans.
